Jonathan brings to the team over 16 years of rich expertise in the fitness industry, having honed his skills across various leadership roles. He has a solid track record of building, growing, and developing businesses through strategic operations, customer engagement, and team development. His latest stint as Operations Director at F45 Training saw him establish and grow the brand’s presence significantly in the competitive San Francisco market. His role was pivotal in creating effective business strategies that led to the studio becoming the #4 top-grossing in North America and #2 in California.
His hands-on approach in the industry is complemented by his tenure as National Training Director for the National Fitness Campaign, where he drove the program to new heights, launching in over 100 cities and colleges nationwide. His early career foundation at YMCA as the Director of Fitness & Healthy Living involved driving business operations across a community health club with over 6,000 members, demonstrating his capacity to scale operations effectively.
Jonathan’s experience and passion for fitness and wellness align perfectly with Black Box VR’s mission to revolutionize exercise by making it more engaging and enjoyable.
In his new role, Jonathan will be responsible for overseeing all gym operations and spearheading the development and growth of the Black Box VR franchise system. His proven proficiency in marketing, brand strategy, team building, and customer retention will be instrumental in expanding Black Box VR’s innovative fitness solution to a broader audience. Jonathan will be reporting directly to Ryan DeLuca, CEO of Black Box VR.
