  1. Focus On Weekly and Monthly Quests

The quests that you see in the app are meant to guide you to do the right amount of exercise every week and month. Not only are they fun, they are a great incentive for being consistent!  If you are completing them all, you not only earn the best game and IRL rewards, you will also reach your fitness goals quickly

  1. Maintain Proper Exercise Form

Even though the game tracks your form and helps guide you, it is still possible to find some sneaky ways to cheat. You may be getting more reps and winning more battles, but in the end you are cheating yourself!

  1. Keep Calories in Check

Use a TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) calculator to estimate your caloric needs. Want to lose fat? Eat 500 fewer calories daily. Want to build muscle? Eat 300–400 more.

  1. Train to Failure

In Black Box VR, the resistance machines are designed to adapt to your strength and challenge you at every level. Push yourself to failure during your sets to ensure maximum muscle growth. Going to failure means doing as many reps as you can WITH GOOD FORM in each set.

  1. Prioritize Sleep

Sleep impacts your recovery, energy, and progress. Set yourself up for success by aiming for 7–8 hours per night. If you don’t recover, you’ll feel it the next time you’re battling to destroy your opponent’s gates in Black Box VR.

  1. Full Body Workouts

Black Box VR combines resistance training with cardio in the most effective way. Like any good game or sport, you are given the autonomy to choose what you want to do. If you focus on only a few exercises or skip any of them, you will not get a balanced workout. Don’t lose out on the best results!

Fuel your body for the battles ahead. Prep simple, nutritious meals like grilled chicken and rice, eggs and veggies, or a quick whey protein shake. Keep it easy and aligned with your goals. You can’t outwork a bad diet!

Keep your energy up with snacks like Greek yogurt, fruit, jerky, or protein bars. Black Box VR battles burn calories—be prepared with fuel that helps you recover.

  1. Ditch the Junk Food

If it’s not helping your progress, toss it. The fewer temptations you have in the house, the easier it’ll be to stay on track. Control your environment and you won’t have to depend on willpower.

  1. Steps Matter

Gamify your step count like you gamify your workouts in Black Box VR. Aim for 10,000 steps daily to support your overall health, burn even more calories, and complement your resistance training.

  1. Creatine is a Must

It’s great for strength, building muscle, and cognition. Whether you’re slinging ice shards with squats or launching fire beams with chest presses in Black Box VR, creatine will give you an edge. Black Box VR eliminates guesswork by offering structured and progressive training plans. Log in, follow the program, and crush it. Each session is balanced and tailored to your goals. All you have to do is show up and play a game.

  1. Optimal Rep Ranges

Stick to 10–15 reps per set for most exercises. In Black Box VR, the resistance dynamically adjusts to your performance, ensuring you stay within effective rep ranges every session. Using Heavy mode is the best way to get results. Be sure to do full, long reps and proper form!

  1. Protein Prioritization

Aim for 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. This will help with muscle growth, recovery, and hunger control. Black Box VR’s post-workout analytics can help you stay accountable to your nutrition goals.

Every season, aim to move up to the next higher League!  It is hard to do, but worth the effort.  If you barely missed it last season, vow to make it this time. Join the elite ranks and show off your abilities. 

  1. Protein-Packed Breakfast

Start the day strong with 30 to 50g of protein. You’ll help your body to build muscle and reduce your appetite and cravings. Protein is satiating! Carbs are not.  Fueling up properly ensures you’re ready for your next Black Box VR session.

  1. Don’t Drink Your Calories

With protein shakes as the exception, don’t drink your calories!  Skip sugary coffee drinks. Liquid calories do not help you feel full, so you still eat just as much and then go way over your daily calorie budget. Stick to black coffee or tea to stay lean and focused for your workouts.
